Framer vs Carrd

Carrd is great for a single cheap one-pager. Move to Framer when you need more than one page, a blog or shop that updates without a redesign, real animation, or a site that looks like a brand instead of a link page. Most people outgrow Carrd the moment they want a second page.

What Carrd is for

Carrd does one job well: a fast, cheap, single scrolling page. For a link hub or a coming-soon page it is hard to beat on price and simplicity.

The ceiling you hit

Growth breaks the one-page model. You want a real menu, a journal, a proper shop, separate pages for services. Carrd was never built for that, and bolting it on gets awkward. Framer handles multiple pages, a CMS you update in a form, and motion that makes the site feel alive.

Making the jump

You do not need to become a designer to switch. A Framer template gives you the multi-page structure already built, so you move your content over once and keep a site that can grow. If you are replacing a Linktree, that step up is the whole point of The Collection.
